Milmedika

Dr. Nikola Bakić is an internal medicine specialist with a subspecialty in hematology. Currently, he works as the head of the Day Hospital of the Center for Hematology, Clinical Center of Montenegro.

Education

• Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Niš.
• He specialized in internal medicine at the same Faculty.
• Completed his subspecialization in hematology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.

Professional experience

• Worked as a medical advisor at Zorka Pharma-Hemofarm from 2002 to 2004.
• Medical advisor at Medico-Uno, a pharmaceutical company (2004–2008).
• Joined the Internal Clinic at the Clinical Center of Montenegro in 2008, where he has worked ever since.
• Teaching associate for the subject Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro (2014–2017).
• Mentor and collaborator in the fields of internal medicine and hematology.

Dr. Bakić has participated in numerous educational and professional training programs, including:

• Cryopreservation of hematopoietic stem cells (Munich)
• Basic principles of plasma exchange (Podgorica)
• Therapeutic plasma exchange alterations, B-BRAUN (Zagreb)
• Summer School for Internal Medicine Specialists (Bucharest)
• ICH-GCP training for researchers (Bečići)
• Invasive methods in hematology (Niš)

He is the author and co-author of several professional papers and an active participant in conferences, seminars, and clinical research projects.

He also contributes to developing hematology guidelines for good clinical practice.

Dr. Bakić is a member of the Association of Hematologists of Montenegro and is fluent in English.
