Prim. Dr. Ilić is one of the pioneers of laparoscopic surgery in Montenegro and the first surgeon in the country to perform laparoscopic operations on colon and rectal tumors. He has been practicing laparoscopy since 1996, when the first such procedures were introduced in Montenegro.

Education

  • Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb
  • Completed general surgery residency at KBC Rebro in Zagreb

  • Began his career as a general practitioner at the Primary Health Care Center in Tivat
  • Moved to the Surgery Department at the Hospital in Kotor
  • Held key positions during his career: Head of the Operating Room, Chief of the Surgery Department, Director of the General Hospital in Kotor
  • Since 2024, leads the surgical team at Milmedika Medical Center, Porto Montenegro
