Education

• He was born in Kotor, where he completed elementary school and the Science and Mathematics High School, mathematics track.
• He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad.
• His diploma was officially recognized by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana.
• He completed his specialization in gynecology and obstetrics in Belgrade at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics “Narodni Front.”
• He completed part of his professional training at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics Višegradska, University Clinical Centre of Serbia.

Professional development

Throughout his career, Dr. Vukanić has continued to advance his knowledge in colposcopy, perinatology, ultrasound diagnostics, cervical pathology, human reproduction, gynecological endocrinology, endoscopic surgery, and hysteroscopy.

He has completed additional training in:

• colposcopy at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics “Narodni Front” in Belgrade,
• ultrasound in perinatology,
• breast ultrasound at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics Višegradska,
• PRP treatments,

He has participated in numerous national and international congresses, symposiums, seminars, and professional meetings, while continuously following modern medical guidelines and diagnostic and treatment protocols.

In his daily practice, Dr. Vukanić performs specialist gynecological exams, gynecological ultrasound exams, colposcopy, Pap tests, gynecological swabs, and pregnancy care.

He also performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as cervical biopsy, endocervical curettage, polypectomy, removal of genital warts, exploratory curettage, and LOOP excision.

A special part of his work is focused on the prevention and early diagnosis of cervical diseases, monitoring cervical changes, and applying modern diagnostic and treatment procedures in gynecology.

As an endocrinology subspecialist, Dr. Vukanić evaluates women’s hormone status and treats hormonal imbalance, menstrual cycle disorders, perimenopause, and menopause.
