Milmedika

Dr. Milica Vušurović is a pediatrics specialist and part of the Milmedika pediatric team. Her work focuses on preventive and routine check-ups for children from infancy through adolescence, monitoring growth and development, and diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions.

She is especially focused on supporting children’s overall well-being - from early recognition of developmental concerns that can be addressed in time, to ongoing guidance for parents on nutrition, daily care, and healthy habits.

• Completed high school in Kotor (2000–2004)

• Started her medical career at the Primary Health Care Centre Kotor as a general practitioner for adults (2011–2013)
• Worked as a clinical doctor in the Pediatrics Department of the General Hospital Kotor (2013–2014)
• Completed part of her pediatrics residency at the Institute for Children’s Diseases, Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) in Podgorica (2014–2015)
• Continued her residency at the University Children’s Hospital “Tiršova” in Belgrade (2015–2019)
• Worked as a pediatrics specialist at the General Hospital Kotor (2019–2023)
• Practiced at SmartMed Medical Center as a pediatrics specialist (2023–2025)

Dr. Vušurović has participated in numerous medical congresses, scientific events, and roundtable discussions both in Montenegro and abroad. Highlights include:

• Completed training on HPV vaccination in 2018
• Attended breastfeeding education organized by UNICEF in 2021
• Served as a member of the Rapid Maternity Ward Assessment Committee at the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) in 2022
• Worked as a trainer and educator in UNICEF’s “Baby-Friendly Maternity Initiative” in 2022
