Dr. Dragana Peković, pediatric specialist with a subspecialization in gastroenterology and hepatology, is dedicated to diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal and liver diseases in children. She continuously advances her expertise through professional development and research.

Education

  • Earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro, in 2014.
  • Completed her pediatrics specialization at the University Children's Clinic Tiršova in Belgrade, passing her board certification exam in 2022 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
  • Completed her pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology subspecialization at the Clinic for Gastroenterology and Hepatology, University Clinical Center of Serbia, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Dragana Mijač.
  • Passed her subspecialist exam in 2024 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.

Professional experience

  • She worked in the Emergency Medical Unit at the Primary Health Care Center in Cetinje in 2015.
  • Since 2017, she has been employed at the Institute for Children’s Diseases in Podgorica.

  • Author and co-author of numerous professional papers in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.
  • Actively participates in international training programs, including the ESPGHAN Winter School in Slovenia (2025) and ESPEN LLL courses in clinical nutrition.
