Education:

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 2006.
Enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro in 2007; thesis in progress.
Completed pediatric gastroenterology training at the University Children’s Hospital Tiršova in Belgrade in 2009, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Vojislav Perišić, FRCPch.
Completed additional pediatric gastroenterology training at the University Hospital Center Rijeka in Croatia in 2010, under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irena Barbarić.
Completed a pediatrics residency at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade from 2008 to 2014.
Completed a gastroenterology subspecialization at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade from 2015 to 2016.

Professional experience:

Worked at the Primary Health Care Center Podgorica and Primary Health Care Center Tivat from 2006 to 2008.
Since 2008, she has been employed at the Institute for Children’s Diseases, Clinical Center of Montenegro.
Since 2015, she has served as a teaching associate in pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro.

Academic contributions and memberships:

Author of numerous papers in the fields of pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.
Awarded at the First European Conference of Young Gastroenterologists in 2018, where her work was recognized as one of the top five following an oral presentation.
Participated in ESPGHAN summer schools, ESPEN clinical nutrition courses, and the IBD Masterclass.
Member of the Association of Pediatricians of Montenegro and the Association of Gastroenterologists of Montenegro.
