Prof. Dr. Tamara Milovanović is an internal medicine specialist with a subspecialty in gastroenterology and hepatology. She is recognized as one of the leading experts in Southeast Europe, with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience.

Education

• Completed her specialization in internal medicine and subspecialization in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Clinical Center of Serbia.
• Pursued further training in Germany, focusing on digestive diagnostic and interventional endoscopy, adopting the most advanced methods and techniques in gastroenterology.

Professional experience

• Began her academic career in 2006 as an assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, progressing to full professor in 2023.
• Worked as a consultant gastroenterologist at the MediGroup General Hospital.
• Actively participated in patient care at the Batajnica COVID Hospital during the pandemic, providing significant expertise in treating digestive system complications related to viral infections.
• Currently employed at the Clinic for Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Clinical Center of Serbia, where she focuses on diagnosing and treating digestive system diseases.

• Author and co-author of 240 scientific and professional papers.
