Milmedika

Dr. Dubravka Barović Džankić is a cardiology specialist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases. Her professional interests include echocardiography, functional tests in cardiology, congenital heart defects, ischemic heart disease, and hypertension.

Education

• Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 2000.
• Completed her specialization in internal medicine in 2010 at the same institution.
• In 2010, she also completed an echocardiography training program at the Dedinje Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases.
• Obtained a subspecialization in cardiology in 2016 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.

Professional experience

• Spent the first two years of her career at the Primary Health Care Center Podgorica, gaining fundamental clinical experience.
• From 2002 to 2005, worked at the Clinic for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Intensive Care at the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
• Between 2005 and 2010, she was part of the Clinic for Cardiology at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, further specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases.
• From 2010 to 2019, she was a member of the Center for Cardiac Surgery at the Clinic for Heart Diseases, Clinical Center of Montenegro, where she worked on complex cardiology cases and advanced in modern treatment methods.
