Mental health is an essential part of overall well-being, and facing life’s challenges sometimes requires professional support. At Milmedika, we provide psychological counseling and assessments for children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a personalized approach focused on emotional resilience.

Whether addressing developmental difficulties in children, adolescent struggles, relationship issues, or life crises, our team of psychologists and therapists offers expert guidance and support.

Working with children and adolescents

Childhood and adolescence are critical developmental stages, and the challenges young people face can significantly impact their emotions and behavior.

  • Children (ages 6–12) – We help children overcome developmental difficulties, behavioral challenges, and emotional struggles, with a special focus on developing social skills and strengthening relationships with peers and family.
  • Adolescents – We support teenagers in navigating identity issues, school and family conflicts, stress, and the emotional changes of puberty. Our goal is to help them build confidence and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

Behavioral disorders and emotional difficulties

Life challenges can sometimes manifest as behavioral issues such as aggression, anxiety, depression, or impulsivity. Through counseling and therapy, we work with children, adolescents, and adults to help them understand and manage these difficulties.

We also work with juvenile offenders and their families, providing support to parents and helping them strengthen their parenting skills—especially in single-parent, foster, and dysfunctional families.

Psychological testing and diagnostics

To better understand emotional and cognitive challenges in children and adults, we use modern psychological assessments and diagnostic methods. These tests evaluate mental health, intellectual abilities, and emotional functioning. Based on the results, we develop personalized recommendations and therapy plans.

Support for families and couples

Family and relationship dynamics play a key role in emotional stability. We offer:

  • Individual, couples, and marriage counseling – Helping partners resolve conflicts, improve communication, and strengthen their relationship.
  • Tailored psychotherapy – Designed for individuals, families, or couples to enhance self-awareness, overcome emotional obstacles, and manage stress more effectively.
  • Crisis support for families – Providing guidance during difficult times, such as the loss of a loved one, sudden family changes, or major life decisions.

Psychological support for children in special circumstances

Children are particularly sensitive to changes in their family environment, and certain situations can have long-term effects on their mental health.

  • Academic struggles – Emotional difficulties and lack of motivation often contribute to poor school performance. We help children identify the root cause of their challenges and develop strategies to improve focus and success in school.
  • Parental divorce – A stressful transition for any child. Psychological support helps them adapt to changes and maintain emotional stability during this difficult period.

Professional psychological support can be crucial in overcoming emotional difficulties and fostering long-term mental well-being.
