Dr. Nenad Sorat, radiology specialist, has extensive experience in pediatric radiology, with many years of work in leading healthcare institutions in Montenegro.

Education

• Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kragujevac, in 2001.
• Passed his professional medical exam in 2002 in Podgorica.
• Completed his radiology specialization exam in 2010 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro, in Podgorica.
• Completed the School of Emergency Pediatrics.
• Participated in the IMCI (Integrated Management of Childhood Illness) seminar for doctors.
• Attended the Pediatric Days of Serbia and Montenegro.
• Took part in three seminars organized by the Pediatric School of Montenegro and Serbia – UDK Days in Belgrade.
• Participated in the XII Congress of the Medical Society of Montenegro (September 2005).
• Attended the VI Congress of Radiologists of Serbia and Montenegro with international participation – CT School in Novi Sad.
• Participated in the congresses of the Association of Pediatric Surgeons of Macedonia with international participation in Kičevo and Berovo.
• Delivered three oral presentations in radiology in Podgorica, Budva, and Belgrade.
• Served as an educator for the ultrasound hip screening school for pediatricians and radiologists in Montenegro.

• Completed his internship at the Primary Health Care Center Podgorica.
• Worked as a general practitioner from May 2004 at the Primary Health Care Center Bar (Emergency Medical Service).
• Clinical doctor at the Institute for Children’s Diseases in Podgorica from 2003 to 2006.
• Specialized in radiology at the Institute for Children’s Diseases from 2006 to 2010.
• Working as a radiology specialist since 2010 at the Institute for Children’s Diseases, Clinical Center of Montenegro, in Podgorica.
• Radiologist at the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Montenegro from 2015 to 2017.
• Head of pediatric radiology at the Institute for Children’s Diseases, Clinical Center of Montenegro, from 2018 to 2021.

• Member of the Radiological Association of Montenegro (RAM).
• Member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR).

He has published numerous professional papers as both author and co-author and shares his knowledge and experience through lectures and training sessions for pediatricians and radiologists.
