Dr. Dubravka Barović Džankić

Dr. Dubravka Barović Džankić is a cardiology specialist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases. Her professional interests include echocardiography, functional tests in cardiology, congenital heart defects, ischemic heart disease, and hypertension.

Education

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 2000.
Completed her specialization in internal medicine in 2010 at the same institution.
In 2010, she also completed an echocardiography training program at the Dedinje Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases.
Obtained a subspecialization in cardiology in 2016 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.

Professional experience

Spent the first two years of her career at the Primary Health Care Center Podgorica, gaining fundamental clinical experience.
From 2002 to 2005, worked at the Clinic for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Intensive Care at the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
Between 2005 and 2010, she was part of the Clinic for Cardiology at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, further specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases.
From 2010 to 2019, she was a member of the Center for Cardiac Surgery at the Clinic for Heart Diseases, Clinical Center of Montenegro, where she worked on complex cardiology cases and advanced in modern treatment methods.

Member of the Montenegro Society of Cardiology.
Actively participates in the Serbian Society of Cardiology.
Member of Echocardiographic Society of Serbia (ECHOS).

Education
